I've had a lump feeling in my throat for 4 weeks now.

I'm hoping somebody on here can help me with some good advice. I've had this lump feeling in my throat for about 4 weeks now and its also causing me to feel sick most of the time apart from when I'm lied down, its also causing a pain in my back between my shoulder blades which feels like there's a lump. I've been for chest X-rays and bloods tests which have come back clear....yesterday I went for an ultra sound scan which I have to wait 7 days for the results, I've also got an appointment booked for an ENT to have a camera put down my throat.

?From what I've been reading recently I think it maybe globus...but the whole situation is getting me really down as I've not been able to go to work or do any of my normally daily activities.... can someone please give me some advice?

Hi Ryan I have it too . Been 6 weeks so far but I've had a cold mouth feeling with it . I've been to ent and they think it's silent reflux . I've stopped everything acidic or fatty to stop it but still got it. So not sure if they were right

Hi Ray, do you get all the other symptoms I described aswell? Mine started on the last day of my holiday in Thailand. Are you able to carry on with work and other things because all I want to do is lie down and I've not been able to do anything much since it started and it's really getting me down.

I can't  say I get the cold feeling in my mouth tbh. What do you think the cause could of been that started it for you?  Also my doctor hasn't diagnosed me with anything yet but from going on this site it sounds very much like globus, even though I'm convinced something is maybe Imflamed somewhere between my stomach and throat. I'm just sick of feeling like this everyday and getting no answers.

I really don't know what's causing it . They think it's reflux but I've done everything to ease it bur getting nowhere . I really think I need a endoscopy or even my gallbladder looked at as that's starting to get niggly pains too

Have you not had an ultra sound scan yet? I was getting niggly pains too and I thought it was something to do with my pancreas. I just can't understand why or what has caused this lump feeling and a pain in my spine. Have you taken time off work?
