    Hi Joanna,

Sounds like you have hyperventilation syndrome. I have had it before and experienced everything you did. Find a breathing specialist who can help you.

    Best of luck

You're not alone. I'm going through the same thing & it's awful. I find deep breathing helps with the tingling (I get it in my hands & face). But don't try the deep breathing during an episode, best to do it before or afterwards.

    Joanna,

I'm sorry to hear that you are having all these symptoms. It can be very scary. Based on what you wrote it could be a number of things but one that is likely to be the cause of the symptoms is that your experiencing some panic attacks. It's scary to but it would explain why you are getting all those. The tingling sensation in your hand or legs or feet sometimes even in your lips and face, it's because of you're short but quick breathing. It may even be happening to you and you don't know that you are doing it. Panic attacks while not deadly are still one of the most horrible things to go through. My suggestion is that you go to see your primary care physician and tell them exactly what you are going through, then explain any stressful things that may be the cause for concern. They will help you or reffer you to a psychiatrist and therapist just so you can get some little help with some medicine and at the same time work through what it is you may be going through that's causing these things to happen. Remember that you can get help in trying to manage the stress and anxiety but it's not your fault. This is not happening because of what you did. It's happening as a response to a situation that you may not be able to manage any way because you never knew how to respond to it because you were never taught or prepared for the issue. God bless you I hope that you find relief and help soon. Hope that even though you're going through this that your Thanksgiving holiday will be an amazing and wonderful day. Best wishes

Have you told your dr about the symptoms you are having? Did they classify it as anxiety?
