I have had NON STOP  muscle twitching/spasms for 4 months straight everyday and they are getting worse and worse. They started in my feet. Now they are widespread. Head, eyes, lips, chin, chest, breasts, shoulders,  arms, hands and fingers, stomach and ribs, back, buttocks, thighs, calves, and still in my feet and toes... try are horrible and annoying. I also have horrible migraines at least 5 times a week. I have trouble swallowing, shortness of breath, fatigue, trouble sleeping and sleep disturbances, fear, fast heart beat and palpitations, I now have widespread pain everywhere, dizziness, eye twitching and eye pressure, rashes, bruises,  and my feet hurt and feel like I have poor circulation. I have already had a brain EMG, multiple CAT scans  of head and eyes, tsh t3 and t4, magnesium was checked and vitamin B12 was checked, ANA was checked, CBC tests and metabolic panel, all of this was normal . I wasn't tested for Fibromyalgia, BFS, ALS, Epilepsy, Hypocalcemia, or any other possible neurological disorder... I had a baby 4 months ago and after the birth is when I experienced all these symptoms and th eery have progressed and became much worse. Doctors aren't trying to see me sooner and the appointments are 2-3 months out sad and I've been to the hospital too many times. I feel like I'm going to die soon... I fear death and I feel like it's coming because it's getting worse and I have no answers still 4 months later. I am 21 and weigh 250 which I didn't know. I honestly didn't know I gained this much weight after my pregnancy. What could this be and what should I do? I'm waiting to get spine MRI. ..

I went thru exactly what your going thru...i still have widespread twitches 9 years later...it all stems from anxiety...you work yourself up to that point...then if your a hypochondriac like me you think your dying of ALS...start doing every ALS strength test there is and it consumes your life...thinking your going to die is all part of it...

It feels good to know I'm not the only one feeling this way.. what doctor should I see that deals with anxiety and stress? There has to be some kind of medication or something I can take to relax... my muscles will NOT stop twitching its literally so annoying and they hurt really bad in the creases of my legs whenever they start twitching. I'm trying to not think it's a life threatening disease but it's hard when I go to the hospital constantly and get no answers. Thanks for your response though!

Believe me your fine..i spent a ton of time in the hospital because i was always dying of something..always a deadly disease...couldnt be just a curable one had to be a deadly one..lol...your muscle are just tight and your reprogramming your brain for the fight or flight process...your in the scared mode so your tence and that will create muscle twitches...try not to think about some deadly disease because thats not it....believe me on this one....

Hey Danielle, I know how you feel bless you, you have quite a lot of symptoms which are similar or the same to my own..

I was diagnosed with iih (idiopathic intercranial hypertension) which is where I have a build up of cerebral spinal fluid around my brain, this causes most of my head pain and symptoms, I've had a headache every day since Jan 2014, I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia about a month later. I have also been diagnosed with fnd (functional neurological disorder) which causes widespread chronic pain, spasms throughout all my body, very much most of what you are describing.

I'm not saying these could be your conditions, but look them up to see what you think.

Part of my fluid build up in my head is due to weight gain too.

Do you have a neurologist? Rheumatologist? Go to your doctor, explain again what is happening to you, ask for a referral to the neurology team in your hospital, same as rheumatologist too.

You need answers, an I feel that avenue would be the best way.

At least then anything you receive is from professionals that specialise in those areas.

I do hope you get to the bottom of this and they help you and give you treatment for this.

I could possibly have that. I already seen a neurologist on July 10th. He did a EMG and NCV and it was normal. The doctors don't listen when I say I need more testing done they just do whatever they think is best. This Thursday I get a cervical spine mri done. I want a open mri because I have anxiety and didn't do well with the last brain mri but I heard the open mri isn't better then the closed. I also had a baby in April and I weight 225 before I had my child, in my last trimester I weight 245, after i had my baby I lost 10 pounds making me 235, then last week I checked my weight and I now weight 256! I'm gaining a lot of weight and I have never weighed this much. What tests did the doctors run for you for you to find out your diagnoses?
