I’ve had my tonsils out and still get recurrent sore throats

Had tonsils removed last year after recurrent tonsillitis. since then i have had a very dry throat at night and this year have had a sore throat 4 times - sore throat severe with pain swallowing and feeling feverish (no other cold symptoms). feels like tonsillitis all over again, i am at my wits end and just want to be healthy. i am 24. recently discovered i had glandular fever in the past.
