I've had some trouble sleeping, people who have insomnia, do these symptoms sound familiar?

For context, I'm a relatively unhealthy, overweight guy, 20, and I've had anxiety/depression symptoms for maybe 5-6 years. I've been trying to lose weight and manage my anxiety symptoms recently but a few days ago, out of nowhere, I started having trouble sleeping. Now having really bad anxiety about my health, I jumped to conclusions thinking it was FFI/SFI, which I now realize is a bit of a jump. While I haven't completely gotten rid of that idea, what I am more concerned about it is what is actually going on with me. I've been able to sleep, for about 6-7 hours but only when my body just physically cannot stay awake any more, and the sleep I get is not very refreshing, so I've been feeling tired throughout the day. I get really bad stress and anxiety whenever I try to relax or slow my breathing down, and when I lay down I feel my pulse throughout my chest, neck, ears, and head. I'm not even sure I have insomnia, since its actually this feeling of my pulse that is what's keeping me awake. Now whenever I lay down, and start to feel that pulse as I'm trying to relax I feel intense stress and anxiety which creates a very nasty snowball. Some of the other things I feel are parts of my body heating up, usually the back of my neck and my legs, I get some tingling in my legs and arms, and I just feel this really suffocating anxiety whenever I try to focus on relaxang. Every time I feel my pulse my mind tells me it means I'm never going to sleep again. I was pretty freaked out and talked extensively to my brother, who is a medical professional, and he told me it was nothing, and if anything it could be sleep apnea. When I called teladoc, they said I could have an arrhythmia, which I also think could be a stretch since my heart rate doesn't get that high during the day. Whatever it is, it's taking a bit of a toll on me since I have pretty bad anxiety already, and not having the ability to sleep whenever I want is pretty scary. My main ideas for what's going on is some kind of blood pressure issue, my anxiety going haywire, or it actually being insomnia. I'm going to go to an Urgent Care to get my pulse checked, but aside from that I don't know what to do. Anyone else have some kind of similar experience? Any kind of ideas or help would be appreciated.
