I've had this forever and nothing is helping

Hi,
I've never posted to any forum or really opened up to anyone about my ls. So here it goes... I have had LS for as long as I can remember but was not diagnosed til I was 18 after I had had a biopsy. I was prescribed clobatasol as treatment and am still using that even though it doesn't seem to help much and if I have any fissures causes extreme burning and increases the itching. I have tried emu oil to attempt to help with the tearing but it didn't help. I've tried baby rash cream still no help. I cannot have sexual intercourse and cannot afford a dilation set. I am mainly affected lower down by the vaginal opening. I am desperate for something that can help. I am always having flare ups and I'm just tired of not being able to even sit in certain chairs cause it causes way to much discomfort let alone have sexual intercourse. I need help. Please anything you can offer will be great.

Hi Jessik I do do feel for you. I'm 64 and was diagnosed about three years ago. I was mortified to think that I have a horrible incurable skin condition, which naturally is very difficult to talk about freely; that's why this forum is so supportive. I've never used prescription meds. After diagnosis I almost immediately started to use Emuaid and it was a miracle. However about 4 weeks ago (when I first posted) I had a flare up, mainly round my anus (that's where I always get it) and at the top of my inside thigh - the Magic Emuaid aid seemed to have stopped working - maybe too much of a good thing.
I now use oregano oil mixed with coconut oil - take D3, Curcumin with peperine, liquid magnesium and Liverel to cleanse and support good liver function. All of these are aimed at supporting the immune system. I try to eat less sugary fruit and stick to blueberries/raspberries/kiwi fruit and most days try to drink cider vinger (with the Mother Apple) with warm water. Also very very little what/gluten. Being vegetarian I never have dairy and use almond milk.
Since starting this I have not had a flare up - now is that luck or am I in remission - don't know but am going to stick to the regime and see what happens. I guess am somewhat fortunate that at the moment, LS has not affected my vulva, vagina or clitoris apart from a few white patches - am obsessed and check everyday!!!
I do hope you find something that works for you. As all the wonderful women on this forum advocate - try new things and see what works for you.
I dude you well.
