I've had this red tissue on my gum for 5 months after tooth extraction. Is it okay?

Since the day of my molar extraction I've been having this red tissue on my gum for 5 months now (please see the picture uploaded). I am starting to get worried about it. My health anxiety is really flared up now... Should I see a dentist or this is some kind of scar tissue and it will go away?
