has anyone ever been afraid of just becoming paralysed. I'm so so scared. I've had numbenss down below in the private areas coming and going for about 5 weeks. now I think I feel the numbness in my mid back area. like my sides and on my arms aswell. and my legs sometimes feel extremely weak. as if they've woken up from being numb. I have an 8 week old baby so not sure if picking him up and holding him and feeding him is causing that. I'm really scared of cauda equina syndrome and I have googled it and I'm afraid this is this is i have because of this numbness down in the private areas.. I'm just terrified my body is going to become paralysed. I'm so so so scared. 😭😭

that’s right you said you had an MRI which didn’t show anything right? Why don’t you get another opinion from a different doctor? if this is really upsetting you then it would be worth it to visit someone else. try to find someone with a great reputation. That way you can have some peace of mind sorry you’re going through this.

Hi, I also suggest you tell your doctor about an emg which shows them your muscles and nerves to make sure they are working properly. If they dont find anything in this test and your muscles work perfectly then it is most likely anxiety since i am also going through the same thing and feel very weak. I am also scared that all of a sudden all my muscles are going to stop.
