I’ve never had a yeast infection i don’t know what’s going on.

its itchy and red sometimes it feels dry. it doesnt burn when i pee unless i rub it cause obviously its itchy. i dont remember if those bumps were there or not but thats whats itchy. i do want to say i am on my period currently. its been like this since tuesday since i got my period i did have unprotected sex on sunday and after we had sex i had the smart idea of going into the ocean water and it stung my vagina really bad. i do want to mention that i was sitting in my wet bikini a few times this weekend and i was on a road trip back home so i couldnt change my tampon as often as i shouldve also on tuesday i tried a tampon brand that i dont usually use and i put it in wrong it was causing me pain until i got home which was 7 hoursish. i dont know whats going on and i really need help. i dont want to go out and buy a yeast infection kit and it not work then my mom finding out i had sex because its not a yeast infection i really really need help.

i figured it out... smoking and drinking can cause vaginal dryness as well as not drinking enough water. i increased my intake of water and everything is back to normal. i dont drink and smoke all the time so i think doing it very frequently this past weekend screwed me up anyway. thank you (:
