Given the location this is most likely an ingrown hair or simply a blocked skin pore or sebaceous gland.

First deal with the infection that is causing the bump: get some neat LIQUID antiseptic on a fingertip and dab it on 3 or 4 times a day, the bump should reduce in size in 3 to 4 days.

If it is an ingrown hair the infection may reoccur in the near future - what needs to happen if this occurs is that the hair is removed or at least made to point outwards in the normal direction

I have the same issue going on right now, I have single bump on my penis shaft. I'm worried. But I set an appointment with my dermatologist

this is how mines looks, I'm freaking out a little bit. I haven't been sexually active in 8 months. I went to the Doctor and she said it looks like a gland. I'm going to the dermatologist on Thurday to make sure. It was smaller and got bigger in time.

Try the liquid antiseptic for 4 days then review if there has been change or not

I just left the dermatologist and she said it is a pimple, she prescribed me doxycycline to help with the inflammation.
