I've noticed some sore areas around my vagina

Ive noticed some sore areas around my vagina, possibly Herpes? I've had the same partner for a while a couple months and I'm just now noticing some sore areas. They don't look like some of the pictures I've seen but they are kinda bumps and are sore but only to touch. I should also note that I gallop race horses for work about 7 horses everyday. And it doesn't hurt now that I've noticed it but in the past I've been sore from my underwear rubbing but I've never checked myself for bumps until now.

The one thing I've learnt about herpes is that i'll never really look like what you see online! Please don't jump to conclusions yet but definitely get checked out at a sexual health clinic just to be sure :]

This is how mine started. Here is what you need to do to make your life go back to 100% normal.

    1. Go to doctor, walkin clinic preferred because the sooner the better. Get to the doc now because if you take valacyclovir within 48 hours it greatly reduces the symptoms. Dont worry you got this!!.

2 . Demand an swab of the leisons to check for hsv

    3. Regardless of if you have ever slept with somebody with herpes. TELL THE DOCTOR YOU DID. Convince them that you know own it's herpes and you need antiviral medication.

    4. If the doc tried to pass you off with some ointment or cream refuse to leave unless you are given the oral antiviral medication. Valaclovir is a miracle worker. If you ever have a recurring episode all you do it take 2 get per day for 3 days. Bumps will be going in a matter of days (3-5) no blisters no pain. Herpes is not that bad!. Imagine having a small cold sore for 3-5 days a year that never blisters or scabs as long as you take valacyclovir asap.

I went to get checked out yesterday, he didn't think it was herpes. He said they would usually open a blister and test what's inside but there were no blisters to test and the lump isn't fluid filled or opened. He said if I really wanted to be sure I could get blood work done but I should wait a few weeks before getting it done.

Have to agree with Both of the above statements, it is Best to know for sure. It is good you've been keeping yourself informed about HS, but you won't find out for sure until you get seen.

The symptoms vary but are a lot alike. We are all different but we are all alike.

    Stay informed ?
