Hi all, I've been taking 50mg of sertraline for 10 days now for anxiety and intrusive thoughts, the first week i had the worst stomach with nausea, the second week its started to get better but the past 3 days I've gotten really tired to the point i cant be bothered to clean or even go to work, normally i take my tablet in the morning but the doctor said it can be taken at any time of the day so i will take it tonight to see if there is a change in energy/motivation, has anyone else had the same side effects? and will it get better? thanks.

Hi curtiss. We've chatted lately on my posts.

I will be starting 50mg from 25mg tomorrow. I dont sleep well so doctor said to take at dinner time (6pm). It seems to be ok although I do feel a bit fatigued all day too. Im retired so dont have to worry about going to work. I feel for you having to get up and go to work! "They" say this should get better with time. Easy I guess if you aren't impatient as I am. Im really hoping this pill is the answer. I hope you see a difference changing the time you take it.

Hi elmtree the 50mg seems to be working well for me so i hope you have the same experience, i took it last night around 7 oclock, i woke up this morning at 8 feeling tired but around 10 it started to go and i have so much more energy and motivation than the previous weeks, i would definitely recommend taking it at night time although you are going to a higher dose it may take a few more days for your body to adjust until you start feeling more energised, if you want to check in with me again about your progress that'll be great, all the best
