I want my MRIs read privately, Amy suggestions please

Hi guys, I have all my medical records MRIs etc but was wandering how I go about having them read privately, any suggestions as to where I start. Thanks in advance 😊

    Find an Orthopaedic consultant.. Private Hospitals like BMI or Nuffield, Will look at them, he will need to apply to the Local Hospital where you had the MRI.. or you get a copy done. Usually the films are NHS property.

      Ye I have all my scans on a disc that I had to get from my hospital, I now would like an independent doctor to read them, thank you

    Get in touch with yr nearest private hospital yr consultant with a neurosurgeon will cost between £80 to £250 or u cud ask yr go to referr you .

    If these are for your spine, see a neurosurgeon ONLY!!!

      ye it is and I agree however I have had so many conflicting results, even my neuro doc I have been seeing for approx 4 years now seems to tell me something different every time I see him, I have a lot going on with my spine but my main concern is I have an arachnoid cyst compressing my thoracic spinal cord (t4,5,6,7)which causes chronic pain 24/7, muscle spasms in my shoulder blades and neck spasms, arm weakness and I have left leg weakness with numbness and this awful freezing cold shivers running up and down my legs. 4 years ago I was told that the pain was connected and now he's saying it's not, I'm so confused and I know my body and I know it's causing this pain, also this only started after I had an l4/5 spinal fussion, thank you 😊
