You're gonna only want to taper/quit only one medication at a time, as it can shock your system too much if you reduce multiple at once, and you won't know what side effects are from which medication. Also if you plan on lowering/removing most or all your medications, it's going to take years to do it safely. You'll also want to do research on all your medications.
Currently I am tapering 15mg of Mirtazapine to quit all together using the 10% monthly method. This is deemed one of the safest methods with the least amount of withdrawal side effects. This one has you remove 10% of your dosage every 28 days. Some people have said lowering their dosage from 30mg to 15mg is the easiest part that has very little to no side effects, but that all depends on how your body reacts to changes in medication.
Mirtazapine is also known to help with sleep in the lower dosages, typically 7.5mg to 15mg. And the higher dose, 30mg+ can excite the brain more and gives less of the sleep aid property. But I have noticed since lowering my dosage to 13.5mg, it's been more difficult to stay asleep throughout the night, and I will sometimes wake up 2-4 times in the middle of the night.
