I was improving for a couple of days and now I feel like it's not improving. So sleepy :(

Hey all, I've now been on sertraline 6 weeks. 3 weeks 100mg, 3 weeks 150mg.

I turned a corner last Saturday and became very productive and felt amazing. But on the Sunday it was back to having a bad day.

All this week I've had ups and downs. I started eating properly 2 days ago and felt really good that I was eating meals.

But, for the past 3 days I've been experiencing some extreme tiredness. I'm not sure if this is related to insomnia or lack of sleep. My sleeping has improved, but the past couple of days I've been sleeping late and waking early.

I am drained today. I feel like I could close my eyes and sleep. I have this strange feeling where it feels almost dream like. I'm sitting typing this now but if I closed my eyes even for a few moments I will be asleep, or disorientated.

I am no productive today at all. I feel like a limp ragdoll that just wants to sleep.

Is this normal?

Hi James, it usually takes up to 6to8 weeks . But I'm on week 17 and i occasionally have a bad day, really depends on how stressful the day is. I'm only on 50 and might increase next month. You might want to speak to your doctor about the effects your having. I have more energy with med, but each person is different. Good luck😎

I felt exhaustion like I've never felt before. Feeling loads better now but I couldn't run a marathon!..Give it time..I know time goes slow when you are feeling awful. Watch comedy.

Read a book..do something creative..write a daily to do list. Above all stop worrying..things will get better
