up until 2 weeks ago i was on olanzapine for almost three years starting off on 20mg and finishing on 2.5mg. During the years which led me to be on them i was a worrier, highly anxious and a bit highly strung. A few months in on this high dosage i gradually began to not give a sh@t about things that would normally worry or annoy me. It bluntened my emotions/ unable to cry and i would remain indifferent during normally lively two way arguments with my wife which would annoy her even more when i would just nod or shrug my shoulders. I really noticed that since coming off the medication as Im once again my own person and voice my opinions. i supoose eveyone reacts differently but i found Being on olanz wasnt exactly unpleasant. i slept like a baby and dampened down the panicy thoughts, but i guess my only gripe was putting on a stone for each year i was on them. I found myself eating more rubbish and would have cravings for crisps and chocolate. If i could turn back the clock I would have kept a food diary but I guess I was quite ill at the time and any comfort would be welcomed regardless of having to deal with the extra weight. Im still on 100mg of Sertraline which i have no intention at all of stopping.
