I would like some advice, please. Pictures.

So about 2-3 weeks ago I had small cuts that healed within 2 days. I freaked myself out thinking it was herpes and made a dr appointment, I made the dr appointment when I had the cuts and they were backed up 2 weeks so I took pictures to show the dr. I explained my anxieties to the dr and showed her the pictures and she even looked down there and said it didn't look like herpes or seemed like herpes since they cleared up so fast and I explained to her how I got the cuts, this was thursday. She also asked if they hurt and I had told her I wouldn't have even noticed it if I didn't look down there and she immediately ruled herpes out since she said they would hurt like hell and take longer to go away. She didn't want to take a blood test because she told me the results aren't accurate at all for herpes blood tests and didn't want to spike my anxiety even more if I got a false positive. Well today, Saturday, I noticed a small cut down there again, not in the same place. I get cuts like this pretty often and there was one time the doctor actually looked at it and said that it was just a normal fissure, this was months ago. I don't know if I'm doing something to flair them up or I'm just prone to cuts down there. I did put tea tree oil mixed with aquaphor near the area for hemorrhoids and since that area is so sensitive maybe that flared it? I also wouldn't have noticed the cut if the tea tree oil didn't get on it and caused it to sting a little. Or my shorts that I wore to bed flared up a cut? I'm also about to start my period and I've noticed that as I've gotten older (20 turning 21 soon) I have more problems before I start my period- UTIs, BV, yeast infections, and now cuts. I don't want people saying that this looks like a flare up as MULTIPLE doctors have told me this doesn't look like herpes or a flare up (I'm a hypochondriac and tend to go to the drs a lot for well womens exams and to get tested). I just want some advice to relieve my anxieties about herpes.
I did get a papsmear that day also. The picture is when I had the cuts 2-3 weeks ago & the one I showed the doctor. The current cut looks exactly like it.

I also would like to mention that I've been wiping down there more frequently due to diarrhea (PMSing), could that flare up a cut due to the area being sensitive?

so all doctors are not good doctors. i am not a doctor myself but i do have hsv 2 im speaking from personal experience. i have had outbreaks in the form of blisters, ulcers, and also these "cuts". Since you have experienced this a couple times it is likely that these are outbreaks..some people experience it worse than others and they do not "hurt like all hell" this is the reason there is a stigma around herpes. I get mine in this same area on either side but usually on the left side and sometimes wont notice its there until i use the bathroom and somehow urine touches the area and ill feel it or i experience an itch. i have had outbreaks that have cleared within two days they literally come and go and ive noticed that when they heal that fast, the virus presents itself in this exact form of cuts for me as you have in the picture. Tea tree oil works really well for me when healing my outbreaks. i believe you shoukd have a blood test done . Sorry if this wasnt the response you were looking for.

I literally said that I don't have herpes as I've gotten cuts down there ever since I was little and before I was sexually active. I have no symptoms with these cuts and I notice I get them if I've been rough with the area (sex, friction, harsh wiping, etc) I have seen NUMEROUS doctors that have all said I don't have herpes, gotten swabbed and everything came back normal/doctors have LOOKED at the area and have said its just small fissures. What I did say in my post, however, is I didn't want people telling me it is herpes because it isn't. Also you have NO medical background so I think people on this forum shouldn't freak people out by saying "oh yeah that's herpes" when they literally have NO CLUE and can only vouch because of their experience. I asked for advice on how to relieve my anxiety about herpes and if anyone knew what I was getting frequent cuts or if someone could relate to me.

I don't notice these cuts at all when I get them the only time I notice them is if I take a mirror and LOOK down there. I get no burning or itching.

I do have a question for you though: How long did it take for you to show the first symptoms after exposure?

You never stated anything about you getting them since you were a little girl in your original post.. why post in a forum asking for advice from people who actually have herpes if you didnt want to be told it does in fact look like herpes? Also medical background or not you posted a discussion in a forum because you still dont trust the advice actual doctors gave you because you stated youve been to MULTIPLE so what exactly are you saying? herpes comes in many different forms and everybody is different im sure you know that some people dont show symptoms. There is no way to relieve your anxiety besides just not thinking about it...? if you know you dont have herpes, so you were told, what exactly could a person who does have it tell you to make you feel better ? You asked for advice from someone who could relate and i related because i get outbreaks that look exactly like that and youre offended
by me saying that? Also "fissures" usually occur in areas that fold and are usually linear. The picture you posted have cuts going in two different directions. but youre welcome

I never said I was offended, I've just seen so many people on this forum diagnose people when they have no medical background what so ever- it leads them into panic mode and I feel like this forum should have restrictions on that. If I came off as rude then sorry? I asked for advice to relieve my anxiety instead of getting "diagnosed" with something. I should've made my original post a little more clearer but its whatever now. I'll take your advice and go get tested again.

I've realized that my reply has come off as very rude and I truly am sorry.

What a rude reply from you, Lizette. You should be ashamed of yourself and apologize. If you want to "relieve your anxieties" then go to a Psychologist instead of posting this type of pointless question on a Herpes Forum.

How is it a pointless question when its an actual concern, lol? I did apologize because I realize my tone of text sounded very rude and selfish, and I'm not like that. Have a good day.

can someone help me please....i have bumpy irritation along the inside of my vaginal lips on both sides no blisters or bumps around the opening of my vagina and no other symptoms that I've read related to herpes but i have reoccurring BV for years now, have had regular checks by gp and always comes back as stage 2 or 3 BV and I get flagyl to treat it but has never cured it. I most recently had a chlymida, trich and gonorrhea test and all negative but ive recently noticed this irritation along my labia on my both sides starting at the top of my vagina and fades downwards I've seen women can suffer from irritation from BV and thrush but also am terrified it's the start of genital herpes if anyone can help I'd really appreciate it
