You really need to get a blood test to see if you may have coeliac disease. Your story is very similar to mine. For many years I believed I had IBS but not so. My blood test came back positive for coeliac which is an autoimmune condition and I have felt SO much better after eliminating gluten from my diet. You need to be eating food containing gluten every day for several weeks before you have the blood test otherwise it won't show if you are coeliac if that is the case. It is important to get a correct diagnosis as if you are coeliac you will be at greater risk of things like osteoporosis. I hope this helps.

I have had a test for coeliac disease years ago but it came back negative, hence I was diagnosed with IBS I suppose I could ask for another blood test. I appreciate you help thank you.
