Ibs and my period

I haven't been fully diagnosed with ibs, but lately I've had all the symptoms. I just got my period 2 days ago and I've noticed a difference. Is it possible for your period to make your ibs go away? Honestly I've felt so much better lately. Can this happen?

Probably your hormones helped you. I'm glad you are feeling better. Bye good luck.😎

Your period typically makes IBS worse and IBS can make your period worse.  I have never heard of IBS improving during your period.  See your doctor for an official diagnosis.

Never mind turns out my ibs didn't get any better. I must've not eaten something that caused my ibs that day

But it hasn't gotten worse. It's stayed relatively the same

Sometimes my period symptoms are so bad that I forget the IBS symptoms are there, but other than that I can't think of an instance where a period would erase them altogether. Seems like maybe you just managed to avoid a trigger food. At least it's stayed the same and hasn't gotten worse!
