All veg that's not organic soak the night before this will clean the veg plus soften up and make them tasty prefably soak all veg in salt water peeled if poss.
Stick to just 5 to 6 veg for first Twp weeks spinach curly Cale carrots green beans onion. The only veg you don't need to soak there is onion .
Prefably steam your veg only to.
Especially for carrots really crunchy solight steam for them.
II'll give you some cracking tips soon.
Meat try to include fish daily forvyhe first Twp two weeks beef and chicken keep to a minamol but soak all the night before I give you measurements and stuff later
Oils prebaly only fish oil and I would go for rapeseed oil for first two weeks.
Oilsust be added to every meal either raw or lightly heated again I'll give you more tips as we go on.
Fruit just stick with pairs and blueberry infused tea for two weeks to begin with canned pairs on water are a good choice but rinse them first again I can give you some great healthy dishes but later.
Yogurt maybe once aday with pairs a bit of oil and honey looks good in a glass.
Or green smoothy daily green spinach curly Cale pare almonds plus the tealeafs from a blueberry teabag.
All blended togeather with a bit of oil in.
Again almonds spin an Cale must be soaked the night before and thou roughly rinsed.
Carbs just patatoes and brown rice.
Dish the bread for brown rice.
Patatoes just have jackets with oil.
Coleslaw carrot and cabbage soaked the night before add homemade mayo or healthy choice bottle.
Sugars no white refined just fruit carrots and honey
Drinks keep hydrated water sparkling water or infused with fresh lemon or herbal tea nettle tea is good for cleaning.
Adding raw oil to each meal will help the body to flush out baddies in food and keep the digestive system lubracated plus the oil give the digestive system the energy it needs to digest your food.
Plus more omega 3 oil than omega 6 will reverse inflamitary conditions
Rape seed oil hold twice as omega 6 as omega 3 but its not bad compared to others plus its high in mono sat the preferred choice of the meditranian diet. Mono that is.
Rice include a can of sardines to the rice each day you won't hardly taste it if you cut it and mash it with a fork UE blend it in to the rice.
One can if sardines 40 p and holds the perfect ratio of 4 to 1 omega 3 oils yo omega 6.
Include also daily at least a 1000 mg of fish oil capsules or better choice extra virgin fish oil in a bottle they have all the nutrients as its a special process I worked where they prepared it once.
I'll post you more soon.
Look at staying away from any know laxative foods for first two weeks or keep them to a minamil.
There's souch more I have to tell you quantiles of oil for each meal how yo work it out plus food sugars.
Quantities of salt for soaking foods
Ridding food of phytic acid
Cooking methods and fitness stretching abdominal measles and realaxation exercise for breathing better from certain Lowe back exercises.
Bye for now

And ten percent sugar foods.
For instance say you have brown rice and chicken for dinner and it equates to 300 cals so then what you do is find out how much oil equates to 100 cals as 100 cals being 33 percentt of ,300
Add that to the meal you now have 400 cals. Now the sugars devide 400 by 10 percent equates to 40 cals.
Now find out how much sugar equates to 40 cals and add that to the meal.
Its roughly one largr pare or 1 and half
Carrots plus half a pare.
Do this for each meal for a 2 weeks.
100 cals of cals from oil is only roughly s few teaspoons of rae oil maybe a bit more.
Prefably go for rapeseed extra virgin and fish oil.
Also prefably only use rapeseed oil for cooking to.
Include oily fish each day to like a can if sardines.
PS what's your weight and age

I have been suffering from IBS for 10 years, I know how bad it gets affecting your life-style and mental health.
After trying almost all kinds of medications with infinite number of doctors, I found that the main key is to control your anxiety and your diet.
the tricky thing is food doesn't affect ppl with IBS all the same, so you have to figure out what irritates your stomach and eliminate it from your diet.

Oil helps to release nutrient from foods and cells from the body to help with digestion.

Or having to much fibre is bad or having to much laxative foods like flaxseed oil or dairy the list is endless.
It can be something as simple as keeping to a 400 cal meals or less or slightly more.
That's why a food diary and cal count each day is enough.
It can be something as simple as changing your method of cooking
But my 2 weeks of foods that are made easier to digest by prwaparing them a certain way not only help the body get rid of rubbish and clean you out it also will give you strength health and looking good plus build your immune system and have you better in no time plus give you all the vitamins you need by cooking them foods in certain ways that maintains the true amounts of cals and nutrients vital for a strong immune system.
My diet is designed to do that its safe its clean its healthy.
I have the lot studied from food prep to hygiene to nutrients vitamins laxatives candida gluten know foods to cause bloating plus all the different oils and all the different omegas.
I have all the phytic acid foods covered I have all the unhealthy fats coverded.
Everything from safe household cleaners to toothpaste to allergies u know the best way for the first two weeks.
This period is essential and must be followed strictly for it to work.
Ev in stuff like letting water hit room tempature and food before eating them can help I have it all every known cause of IBS I have the lot and not only that I gave learned from profeesoonals and doctors dieticians and colledge.
I'm also very polite and willing to help anyone with digestive disorders as I know how damaging it can be

Here's the awful part...the anxiety will exacerbate your IBS. What's helped me is breathing (meditation, yoga, relaxation of any kind that is meaningful to you - a puppy, time with family and friends, holiday), venting my frustration to friends and loved ones (yes, complaining helps me...we're all different) and volunteer work or focusing on others. It's the type of advice that is SO much easier to give than to take, I know. But, some of it is mind-over-matter. And, that is a part that you can help to control. In the early years, breaking up with my then-boyfriend did wonders!! Job stress was a trigger and changing jobs helped me again.
Of course, foods are triggers, too. We're all different so only you can tell what foods are hurting you and need to be eliminated. I guess a food diary with details about what you ate and how you felt each day can start to paint a good picture. You can also try an elimination diet.
But, before you eliminate foods - are you certain that this is only IBS? Have you been tested for Coeliac Disease (your "D" and anxiety/mental health both fit CD pretty neatly). You need to keep gluten in your diet for those tests if you haven't had them done recently. Not trying to provoke further anxiety, just hoping you can find answers and treatments to get yourself well again!
With so much "D" you could also be deficient in certain vitamins that keep a vicious cycle going. Please help yourself with enjoyable activities while you seek further testing from your Dr.

Im a male, 59yrs and my so call IBS started at the very beginning of last year.
My symptoms are very severe cramps in the lower abdomen just above my navel. The pains creep up with bloating and lots of gurgling and when these symptoms are triggered it's hard to stop them.
I was in the position to retire from work as I thought this was the reason for my problems as I had got very depressed.
I am now learning to live with IBS day to day.
I have tried checking on what I eat with no real success.
Its very rare that I get constipation or diarrhoea just severe cramps and bloating.
What works for me is..
Keeping stress levels to a minimum at all times.
Eating a healthy diet making sure you eat slowly chewing everything well before swallowing, not to stress your digestive system too much.
My symptoms only occur when I'm awake..I have no problems during the night time.
Hope this helps.

thanks for replying! It is stress that triggers it but I just don't know how to stop worrying about my ibs, because that's what seems to trigger it. I feel the only way I can cope is to leave the house as little as possible, but that's not a good way to live, it's incredily depressing.
i was told that IBS came in bouts, but I've had it constantly for 3 years.
Thanks, nina.

That's a good weight 8/1 how tall are you
5 foot 4 ish I would guess.
At that weight and size you could get by quite easily on 1500 cals providing your not to active.
The importance of keeping cals the same each day and eating at the same time is essential to a balanced
diet just so you know some IBS sufferers will not reverse there condition 100 percent until they do this for at least a a month to 3 months until they do.
Now having said that the choice of cals we put in there is vital.
Take oils like extra virgin fish oil or rape seed oil verr y healthy and only 15 mils 3 teaspoons holds 100 cals there about.
Take almonds just 25 grams holds 160 cals.
Brown rice is a good one too.
By far one of the best carbs but like almonds rice contain phytic acid so for much easier digestion I soak my rice in fresh filterd mixed with a fresh lemon.
To do this drain every bit of lemon juice from one lemon add that to one cup of mineral water prefably or filtered and add that to the rice let it soak over night.
You could add a bit of apple cider vinegar to the cup to one teaspoon.
Now for baking the rice prebaly bake it for 2 hours at low temps like 50 degrees to 75 for a bit quicker to no more than 150 degrees Fahrenheit.
But me personally go for about 50 for two hours
Some go lower.
It tastes great and its clean because youve purified it over night.
But the best thing is you've kept all it nutrients and cals by not boiling it
And you feel 100 percent safe eating it because you've purified it.
This helps you to relax and feel at ease at the start of your meal which is always important.
If your going to boil it just do it on the lowest gas light poss on the smallest gas flame.
And cook for 1 hours at least.
Now that rice need oil for sure before you eat it.
So please make sure you add some preferably fresh and healthy .
Always keep oils cold and in a dark place out of sunlight and heat it can go rancid and you not know it.
The oils will help the release of precious nutrients in the food plus help with wind that may get trapped while your digesting.
The oils will help the flow of your own digestive enzymes in the small intestines.
Plus the oils will soak up baddies in the food.
Its so important Nina to do this with each meal including smoothies like green one I mentioned earlier.
But you know now that it may only be as little as one teaspoon and its healthy oil that lowers cholesterol so your safe.
OK no for other soaking of foods you roughly only need 1 table spoon of apple cider vinagar to one cup water or 1 teaspoon of salt cooking size 5 mil
You can go more for meat I normaly go 1 tablespoon for meat and veg.
Rinse before cooking the meat.
And you should rinse the rest you soak in salt. Before cooking.
The apple cider vinagar and lemon you can cook with its OK I just don't want you getting to much salt OK Lol.
OK well take care hope to here from you soon.

ive tried so many food diets but it does seem that stress triggers my Ibs. I have to take one Imodium a night and morning just to be able to leave the house and they do work to an extent, but there's the odd day here and there were they aren't enough. I'm in a vicious cyle where I worry about having the D word and getting caught short (sorry if this is Too much info!) but I wrry and that brings it on. I don't know how to break the cycle so I can enjoy my life more and not worry every day. Food wise James I will start trying everything you've said to see if it makes a difference. My main issue is trying to stop the worrying and stress its so difficult.
thanks everyone for your support.

Its a shame I don't write Therese down.
Nina everytime the digestive system gets put through stress it will have effect on your wellbeing and brain.
In a lot of cases the body gets starved of neutrienrs and vitamans for people with digestive disorders.
Our bodies only hold so much in reserve and once there breach the body only shares less and less as it goes.
Adding the the extra energy from oils and sugar to each meal but not to much will help your digestive system so much.
Check out how much energy oil creates compared to sugar on its labels this comes up as kjcals
