Hello. Everyone ๐Ÿ˜Š

Long story short..In April I was diagnosed w my first attack of diverticulitis.I ended up still having pain for weeks after.Ive been checked and re checked and the diverticulitis is healed so Im told it is IBS.

I wanted to explain my symptoms and see if it common..

I wake up mostly pain free,it gets worse as the day goes on and bad at night.I get pains that move from left lower side to right and same up high under my ribs.Sometimes it even feels like my monthly w pain in the pelvis and low back.Other times it can be all around mu belly button and i cant even touch that.Nausea on and off too.Thinking about it ive had these symptoms for years but not 2 weeks straight like this.

Is this considered a flare? Will it pass evetually?is there something to take for pain?I changed my diet big time to much healthier because I use to have constant Diareeah. But now sometimes I feel like I didnt go enough. Is there foods to watch?

My Dr gave me Bentyl for spasms..does it help w pain??Thank you, hope all are well

You could check out online, Turmeric/ Curcumin capsules, Curcumin is the active ingredient in Turmeric, it has anti inflammatory and pain relief properties I take it for IBS with very good results, it is well researched, just Google Turmeric for IBS and other conditions loads of info and any interactions and reason why you couldn't take it, I have read it is extremely safe.

I would say it has definitely made a difference in reducing my symptoms I get with IBS, I also have Rheumatoid Arthritis and it could be reducing inflammation, You can buy Turmeric and Curcumin of eBay and Amazon I would get the 95% Curcumin the one with piperine which is an ingredient in black pepper this is added so your body can absorb the Curcumin far better.

Thanks so much..can I ask you.do you get low belly cramping and bloated for days w IBS?

I got bloating all over my digestive area, and it was pretty much regular, I been talking enteric coated peppermint capsules for quiet some time which did make a difference you take them before you eat and they relax your digestive system, but I started taking Turmeric over three weeks ago and straight away there was a big difference virtually no bloating or diarrhea/constipation, and no side effects that I know of, I have blood tests soon, I'll see what they say. Check out Turmeric/ Curcumin, and enteric coated peppermint capsules, hope this helps.
