Hi, I find Aloe Vera capsules and L-glutomine really help settle my IBS.....I also take buscopan for the cramp/spasms of pain.....you could give it a try, hope you find something that suits. :-)

IBS is caused by the gut flora being imbalanced. Get that right and you are fine and dont need any medications - which only mask symptoms and do not cure it.

Instead of drinking four pints of beer or taking medication get the gut flora sorted out and you will be fine. Lots of information online about it for free.

    Try Bentonite Clay pills

I am on a strong dose of various psychiatric medications. My sister recomended Bentonite Clay pills to help withh diahrea. They worked wonders in solving that issue. I started with one a day and have graduated to two or three a day. I have also decresed my coffee intake which acts as a laxative. These two changes made my poop solid again. Absolutely marvelous.
