Hi my namesake Sam, oh dear poor you, you have had a rough time haven't you. It sounds like something is going wrong, IBS could be the problem with your bowel and sore throat, cough, catarrh etc fits with reflux illness too. You need more tests diet etc to help you to sort this out
I wish you luck with it all, it can be done and you'll get lots of support from people on here.

thank you for the support, would i need to seek a allergist about catarrh? my ear always feel like its draining and it itches and even my throat, but mostly when my acid reflux acts up, i have been dieting but then when i slip up then the symptoms comes strong

Catarrh is common with acid reflux along with an itchy throat. Extra tests won't really help because IBS is functional and not a problem with the structure of your bowel. Acid reflux goes along with IBS. Watch out with dieting because diet change can aggravate your gut when you have IBS.

Acid reflux mostly goes hand in hand with IBS. For mine i try as much alkali as possible and lots of lactose, cheese, milk, cream etc to counteract it. You can get tablets in your chemist for this they will recommend a good antacid, i take something called Ranitidine and good old fashioned Gaviscon on top. Be careful with your diet maybe ask for a dietitian appointment. I wish you luck with it all, it's not the easiest to manage!

Your symptoms are consistent with IBS; accept your diagnosis because your doctor is the expert. Diagnosis acceptance is the key to managing your IBS. IBS doesn't show on any scan and can start after abdominal surgery especially gallbladder removal. Ask your doctor for an anti spasmodic and try a food diary or the low Fodmap diet. Try to stay as calm as possible and avoid stress because stress and anxiety flares up IBS.
