IBS or very early signs of pregnancy???

I'm 19 and have been with my boyfriend for almost a year now. I have been on different contraceptive pills since my 14th birthday. I stopped taking my latest pill 3 weeks ago as it was making me very moody and unbearable to be around. I had my period (first in a long time) just over 2 weeks ago which lastest 3 days (normal for me). Me and my boyfriend have been having unprotected sex but that is due to being totally convinced and believing that I don't ovulate at all. About a week and half ago, i started having discomfort in my lower abdomen area. I'm not going to lie, i have been quite "windy" but not constipated at all; also i get headaches and i'm bloated 99% of my day. It's too early to take a pregnancy test for an accurate result - but i'm just looking for some advice about both IBS and early pregnancy symptoms so that I can put myself more at ease when i find out which one I am. Thanks.

I forgot to add that my nipples have been quite sore these past few days but i'm not sure if thats due to my boyfriend getting carried away when the light go out... or if its a sign to be concerned about.

Sorry not to be serious but this reminds me of the old Scottish joke of a girl like you who went to see her doctor thinking that her slightly swollen stomach might mean that she was pregnant. The doctor examined her and told her that it was just wind.

A few months later as she pushed her pram down the street the doctor approached her and looked into the pram.

What have we got there, Ms Smith ?

A fart with a bonnet on, she said

Hi Laura, try eating live yoghurt and plenty of fresh fruit and veg and if your bloating improves, then you have an idea of the answer.  In the meantime, don't assume you are pregnant and use a condom!
