I take digestive enzymes, probiotics, and antiacids. Mine is more towards constipation, so I also take fiber. If you Do not want to use antiacids, try something called mastic gum I take that too and is very good for heartburn

How often can you take the mastic gum is it an everyday dose or only when you need it and is it for heartburn or general upset stomach as well

you take 1 pill twice a day for at leas 3 to 6 months. You can also use Manuka honey for a few months. Mastic gum helps with many different gastrointestinal issues including H -Pilory bacteria.

I take Buscopan and ibruprofen on top if the pain gets bad.  Luckily, I have been able to avoid medication since June.  Occasionally, I have been crouched on the bathroom floor and felt sick with the pain.  During my three and a half month wait for diagnosis, I was tried on Mebeverine.  It made me 50% worse and gave severe indigestion and constipation.  When I stopped this medication I immediately felt better.
