    Hi

on the leaflet that comes with citalopram it says not to take antiinflammitories and specifically mentions ibuprofen so I would check with your doctor first before taking them

      Hi

dont remember seeing that listed so expect it would be ok but check your leaflet in the box first and check with your doctor.Till then maybe you could try an ice pack, I used to find them a great help with migraine headaches. Hope it eases soon.

It doesn't say not to take Ibruprofen, it just says to tell your doctor if you are taking any other medicines.  I take Ibruprofen with Citralopram for any pain, and was recommended by the doctor to take them some years ago when I had Pleurisy, even though he knew I was taking Citralopram.

It's always best to check with your doctor or pharmacist first though before taking any medicine.

yes you are right it does just say to check with your doctor first if you are taking them, it's just when I saw ibuprofen listed and it's one I would normally take my first reaction is just not to take it.

I know, it's always a wonder if we should take other medication :-)  I've taken Citralopram for so long now I forget I'm actually on them so often plough straight in and take something else then think ooops, I should have checked first.

Its a wonder I don't rattle now biggrin
