IDD treatment

Hi just would like to know if anyone has tried IDD treatment for a slipped disc causing Sciatica as I am considering this treatment rather than surgery of any kind. IDD in Leicester seems rather an expensive treatment I have been quoted £700 for 10 sessions. I've been in pain since Jan 2013 and have tried traction and interfrential treatment also recent had accupuncture I've also seen 2 chiropractors, I haven't private healthcare am just paying as i go along. i also had a steroid injection in May 2016 on the NHS. The accupuncture provides only temporary relief and I just want my life back I've also used various cold and heat pads have gone down the Tramadol diazipan and naproxin route for pain relief with horrible side effects and withdrawals, so any feedback on IDD would be great thanks

    Heh,

Never used it, but wish you good luck on this ! I've seen all the various YouTube testimonials which all sound good - but can understand any apprehension on this. I'm currently trying Egoscue techniques to better align my body - which you can google, this is a branch of physiotherapy and also expensive, but I non invasive.

Please do post back on how it went. This will be my next port of call as I certainly want to avoid any surgery.

Price wise - they are charging around £85 a session in London so I think it's reasonable. From what I read, most people take 20 odd sessions.

Hope it works out for you - Such a debilitating thing this back thing !!

Presuming you have some kind of herniated disc right ?

    Good luck

    Jay

I don't know what IDD is. But I've had Ozone gas injections to stop infalamtion and help with doing exercise. If one has the OZONE GAS injections in the discs it remakes the discs and it's not alternative. now accepted in several countries as being the latest cure for any thing related to nerve damage and infalamtion. I don't won't operate , and my Doctors are all private and specialists , but basically my pain has almost disappeared after the Ozone teraments and now have been told to do RPG(Souchard) and Pilates to strengthen the muscels and , like you align the body(Posture) which when you have chronic pain, the body forgets how to walk normally, I've been hobbling around and I'm a speed walker , love to move! dance, LIVE!
