Hey! Okay so I am desperate for answers, opinions, words of wisdom!!

Im 21,I've been casually seeing the same guy for the past 5 months. I have not had sex with anyone else since him in the past year please keep in mind. The past two months I've had some intermittent white discharge and weird odor along with it but since it would come and go on its own I was not that worried. Well about 12 days ago is the last time I had sex with this same guy and 3 days ago it started burning when I peed and my vagina felt swollen and I had pelvic pain. I thought it was just a UTI so I called my PCP and he gave me keflex well that did not help. I looked in the mirror to see what was going on down there and I have about 5 bumps spread out on my labia majora, its also swollen and two little ulcer like sores near the top of my clit, but no clusters the smell and white discharge is back. I have not had any flu like symptoms or fatigue, just feeling ashamed. I am concered its either herpes, syphilis, or chancroid.

I am so stressed out, sad, disappointed in myself, i feel so alone because I can't tell anyone.

I am calling my OB on Monday to see if they will see me.

Many people infected with gential herpes have very mild symptoms or symptoms that are mistaken for another condition. It is also possible to be infected and have no symptoms. So not everyone who is infected may be aware of the infection. When symptoms are present they consist of typically painful blisters around the gential or rectal area. The blisters break open ,form ulcers and takes 2 to 4 weeks to heal. With the first outbreak of gential herpes ,a person might experience flu like sypthoms including fever ,body aches ,and swollen lymphnodes which everyone does not experience flu like sympthoms does not mean that you are not infected with the virus.Immediately prior to an outbreak there might be itching burning or tingling sensation of the skin. In women gential herpes usually causes blistering lesions on the vulva valerie6379 and around the vaginal opening that process the ulcer formation . The infection spreads to involve the cervix in most cases.

Hey hun... No reason to feel bad about yourself or ashamed, it happens to the best of us. That unfortunately does sound like herpes.

.have you discussed this w your bf? Does he get cold sores? Hang in there.

In the meantime, soak in Epsom salt baths to relieve some pain and discomfort, 800mlgs of motrin every four hrs will help as well. I've noticed a trend of some people, myself included, did not present w fatigue until a week after sores appeared and for some, even later. There's no telling what your symptoms will be like, as it all depends on how your immune system handles the virus and everyone's immune system, is as unique as a thumb print.

Thank you, I'm going to try the Epsom salt bath tonight.

I think deep down I know it is but a part of me is hopeing its nothing and that everything is going to be fine..

I havent said anything because i want to make sure... He knows somethings up because ive been acting distant and ignoring him but I have never seen a cold sore on him. Lips or genitals.

Hun, we all think and hope the same thing. I feel like deep down when we know, we know.

Pretty much all to most heroes is spread through asymptomatic shedding. Most people are asymptomatic and have no symptoms or so mild, they blow it off or mistake it for something else.

Just hang in there and get those test results.
