Hello everyone
I am a 28 y/o female and I have been dealing with elevated liver enzymes for the past year and change. After countless liver function tests & ultrasounds, my doctor finally referred me to a liver specialist. The liver specialist tested for autoimmune diseases, cancer, etc. I was also given a Fibroscan which was normal. The only thing that came back positive from the blood work was something called IgG4 which was 1.278 (normal values are 0.039-0.864) My result was slightly elevated which prompted the liver specialist to give me a referral to get a liver biopsy, which I have to schedule sometime next month.
I don't really know much about IgG4 and my only symptom has really been bad joint pain from time to time and my elevated liver enzymes. Has anyone on this forum dealt with something similar? Please share your igG4 stories if you have any. I'm rather worried and could use some helpful information! 😃
Thank you!
