IgG4 questions

I was recently diagnosed with igG4 which is effecting my kidneys and trying to find anyone who can answer some questions so I can understand better as my doctors can't seem to give me a straight answer and when I google it I get all the medical stuff I really don't understand.  I need a IgG4 for Dummies book.

1.  This disease isn't curable is it?

2.  The steroid treatment is only used to suppress it?

3.  Is it possible for it to attack any other of my organs other than my kidneys?

I was just released from the hospital yesterday and had both a kidney biopsy and bone marrow biopsy to confirm the igG4.  I've started a treatment of Prednisone 60mg daily and will continue that for a few weeks.  I'm wondering if I'm going to get any of my kidney function back.  Currently my kidneys are functioning at 10%, which is right on the line for starting dialysis.  I obviously don't want that.  I would rather go the route of getting a kidney transplant but I'm afraid I won't be able to because of the igG4.  Is there anyone out there with the same issue?
