Iliopsoas surgical release

Hello I am a 51 year non atheletic female .

I have had a previous foot fracture and i developed groin pain on researching we thought it was sports hernia but after 2 years of multiple doctors i was diagnosed with a labral tear and arthoscopy in 2011 helped me about 30% slowly over time i could manage my daily activities and that sufficed could never swim or walk long distance but was still happy with my results until my groin / hip flared up in 2019 we presumed it was from underlying OA and underwent posterior THA and have much more severe anterior groin pain particularly with sitting have trouble with all activities like even simple meal prep and prolonged sitting for work back to pre arthroscopy .

My prosthesis is good on imaging etc. one doctor suggested iliopsoas release based in clinical diagnosis and history and another maybe emperic core muscle injury repair .

Has anyone had ILIOPSOAS release or repair and experience and by who please ?

thanks in advance

sh
