IM 17 AND IM SHORT !

hi, so im a bit worried, im 17 years old, and im only 5'7 in height. My upper body seems to be in proportion and i have a large arm span, and when i sit im the same height as my 6'2 friends. i Get the feeling that my legs are shorter than they are suppose to be. My legs are very short, im also a 'late bloomer' when it comes to puberty (i hit puberty around 14). So is their any chance i might have more to grow(in height)? i know its a weird question but im scared ill stay short. PS im much taller than my mom and my dad is around 5'11. i hate being short! but ill accept it if its ment to be ! thanks

Of course, you could do more growing....and your height right now is fine, but you could go taller....it's all in the genes and we take what we get. Try to relax and enjoy.

U still have time to grow. Look to your outer family members to see if any of them have the same body shape as you. On the lighter side, there has been a story in media lately about how shorter men have more successful relationship than taller men so there is always a silver liningwink ps everyone has something they don't like about themselves so enjoy life and be yourself

You will still have a little more growing to do. But do not worry as 5.7" is not short at all, this is an average high.

I am not sure but I think you carry on growing until you are 18

You are the same age as my grandson and about the same height.  He may or may not grow anytaller.  His dad is 5'4" and hs mum 5'8"

When I was young, I was 5' 11" and taller than my younger brother.  I left home and when I went back to visit a little while later, my brother, who had just turned 20, had suddenly shot up to 6'4",  so, anything might happen!

    Good luck
