Im about to start taking buspirone and I’m going to stop Citalopram

so im pregnant and my anxiety came back really bad

they gave me citalopram 10mg bt its been awful for 5 days ... i webt to see the doctor and she is changing my meds now she put me on buspirone 5mg rwice a day ... im nervous ... if someone has any good things to tell me please

    I'm a male so obviously I haven't or won't get pregnant. (I hope lol) but I used to be awful on citolpram aswell. I'm now on sertraline which is alot better. still get abit anxious but no horrible symptoms caused by meds. maybe ask your doctor about sertraline. don't worry some meds just aren't right for you. it's a job finding the right fit for you!

    I STARTED BUSPIRONE ALMOST A WEEK AGO AND SO FAR SO GOOD. I KNOW IT TAKES A FEW WEEKS TO FULLY WORK BUT I NOTICE CHANGES ALREADY. MY APPETITE IS SLOWLY RETURNING AFTER 5 MONTHS OF HELL. I'M A FAN SO FAR😊

    I took Zoloft (Seretraline) my last pregnancy for the entire 9 months, I don't think I noticed any side effects and it really helped A LOT. My son was born on time and healthy. So just a suggestion, possibly try the zoloft low dose, it really helped me manage during my pregnancy and everything went really well!

      Oh by the way, I should have added that I took it for really bad anxiety!

    i was on seroxate in two of my pregnancies ! I didnt breast feed as you could still pass the medication in breast milk ! my children didnt suffer any side effects xxx
