Im ........... actually i dont know

Right lads&lasses,

I dont know whether this will be long or short yet. I find it hard to describe so just bear with me.

Basically ive been feeling strange and not myself for the past year or so. The best way i can describe it is. When i do something i realise at the time im doing it and to a good standard (i have a technical job), whether its a small task or large task. When i finish it and try to think about what i done i can recall doing it in my head but i dont "feel" like ive done it.

I then start to think that everything is like a game or a challenge and im on the earth being viewed from the outside (not in a holy way) like the earth is a tiny ball and people are standing looking to see if i pass .

I dont feel stressed at work but i do suffer from random spells of anxiety. Nothing notable brings it on except for alcahol which i have grown to except as i wouldnt drink regularly.

Thats the best way i can explain it without jibbering on to much.

Any help at all would be hugely appreciated

Thanks

Mark

    Hi mark

Sometimes our minds take us out of a stressful situation

The feeling of watching yourself is a way to cope

Myself it’s like I’m here but not here sometimes

I would advise you speak to your gp

    Keep in touch

    Hey brother

I know exactly what you feel. I am a retired electrical engineer and I don't feel as if I have fulfilled expectations of my peers. I have learned through time that there is a higher power and I am indeed a better man than what my thoughts are. I have three degrees and yet I have the thoughts of failures. I have a problem of Over-thinking everything in my life. I also like my alcohol , it called self medicating so I am told. Don't let anything control each day of your life. You will be in prayers. Stay tuff.
