im not sure if I want to go on methrexate

Im suffering from bullous and they want me to change from 10 mls steroids pills to meth. im not sure. any suggestions

    Hi Erika,

    ?I was on and off steroids for 5 years for sarcoidosis.  I got put on Methotrexate in December.  I take 15 mg 1 day/week and so far it hasn't been too bad.  My doctor told me to take it after supper.  I get nauseated the next day and feel really tired, but overall hasn't been bad.  It is scarey when you read about the side effects.  My doctor was very reassuring in that this a very old drug and they have had great results with it.  I hope this helps, good luck to you.

      hi chris .just reading you r comments. Im suffering from a chronic skin condition and the doc want to put me on meth. im a bit concerned and I have been reading all about the stuff on the net. thanks for that.
