Im scared I have throat cancer

I noticed two little sores in the back of my throat a couple of weeks ago they weren't causing any pain. I am 18 years old. It was only until last week that i noticed more on the other side and then i started to get a sore throat. i am not having any trouble swallowing and there are no changes in my voice. the sore throat comes in waves and sometimes it feels like i have a lump in my throat. My lymph nodes seem to be a little swollen and tender as well. I do suffer from acid reflux sometimes. Any advice will help. My doctor ruled out any STI. I am seeing an ENT doctor in 3 days. I am really scared so any info would be greatly appreciated.

    At least you have been referred You will get it sorted. I hope its nothing to worry about

    UPDATE:

    the ENT said it is benign lymph tissue. It's called cobblestoning and it can be due to allergies. My sore throat is most likely due to post nasal drip or acid reflux.
