Immunoglobulin and alternate pathway results ? Behcet's? Factor H deficiency

I'm hoping someone here has dealt with something similar to me. Last year I had acute bruising with several months history of infections and illness. I had blood tests which included my alternate pathway (AH50) and complement C3 and C4 tested. My AH50 was low at 40 (normal range 50-150) and C3 .1 within normal range and C4 .3 within normal range, both on lower aspect. Yesterday I had another blood test because I'm still constantly sick with different infections, mouth sores, colds/flu, serious coldness in hands and feet, not having more than 2 weeks break and I'm fed up! My immunoglobulin IgG was elevated above the normal range. So at least i know I'm not going crazy but I just don't know what I'm looking at here.
I already have autoimmune thyroiditis and have done for 10 years but have not had to deal with so much illness until last year.
Has anyone else had similar results? I've tried to do some research and looks like it could be a factor D or H deficiency or possibly Behcet's?

hi, I have Behcet's. Not sure about your blood work. Others may have more expertise. The other symptoms yes are familiar to me. Do you get any genital ulcers?? Key to Behcet's. But also consider Lupus. Similar symptoms but without genital ulceration.

That's so much for your reply. I don't get genital ulcers at all so perhaps from
Behcet's! Mostly just lots of sores in and around my mouth. Vitamin D and B12 are perfect. All general tests have been fine apart from thyroid every now and again. I only saw the GP to discuss the recurrent infections so you're right, time to see a specialist. I know my immune system isn't working the way it should be that's as far as we've got! Lot of the symptoms I get could be related to thyroid too so it's hard to determine. I've never been so sick in my life! It's taken over a lot, working in healthcare and carrying possible contagious germs, feeling too ill to exercise which is my favourite thing to do, sinus and chest infections, gastroenteritis, the list goes on! I'm awaiting an ANA (for lupus) at the moment so I don't know if it's that. I'm in Australia. Thank you for your help!

It can be difficult here but very easy to get into see specialists and I work with a few physicians that specialise in complex medical conditions which is handy! We still seem way too far behind for medical treatments that the rest of the world. I'm sure there is a support group somewhere. I'll look into it. Thanks again!
