My father was in Vietnam and was exposed to it, and both my brother and I have it. But my great-grandmother on my mother's side had life-long issues with recurring boils. She never receieved a formal diagnosis, but my grandfather said my break-outs look a lot like hers. She has a lot of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and my brother and I are the only ones with HS as far as I know.
