Important uti question

About 3 weeks ago I took antibiotics for chlamidia and of course a week later I had to have a Pap smear to make sure it was gone, well the day after I had a Pap smear I got a uti. They put me on Bactrim ds but I took almost the whole course and I still had the uti I fact it was worst. So this past Wednesday they gave me macrobid and I'm almost on day 3 and it's still burning but my pee is clear and light yellow. Any advice??

Are you sure it is a UTI?  Did they do a culture to confirm this or just going by the symptoms?  After taking antibiotics it is common to get a yeast infection and this can give similiar symptoms as a uti, burning, and frequent feel of urination.  Taking too many antibiotics when it is not necessary is not good for a body, it throws everything out of whack not to mention the side effects it can leave during and afterwards.  It also can leave you resistant in the future when you in fact do have an infection.

They told me it was because they took a urine sample but maybe it came back as a uti when it could have been a yeast infection.
