Improved bone density

I got my DXA results today and there was an improvement in my t-scores this year over last year.  Now they aren't recommending drugs therapy any more, and I shouldn't need another scan for three to five years.  My doctor was impressed and asked me how I did it.  I said Vitamin K2 and exercise!  I think I should write up a little paper for her so she has a more complete picture. cool

What source of vitamin K2, or if you used a supplement, which kind and what was the dosage per day? Thanks!

There is some K2 in a calcium supplement I buy from an organic foods store, but I also take an additional capsule daily, same store.  The K2 is derived from Japanese fermented soy product called natto.  It is K2-7.  Dosage si whatever is recommended on the bottle.

How much vitamin k2, mk7? Do you take? I just stayed and am taking 180 mcg per day. Did I see that you also use a vibration machine? I just bought one. Please let me know. Thanks!

I take two capsules, one at breakfast, one with supper, which add up to 200 mcg so quite close to your dose.  I don't think it's easy to overdose on K2 as apparently the body doesn't store it, unlike some of the other fat soluble vitamins, like A.  No, I'm not the one using a vibration machine.  I walk, do Nordic walking, practice tai chi and wear a weighted walking vest, as well as long standing yoga and physio exercises!
