I just turned 77 and have been on Tamulosin .04 twice a day for well over a decade. My, now former, UR told me my RE was caused by a muscle (don't recall the proper name) was the cause and there no cure. He is a big advocate of the Urolift. I no longer see him since he ordered my Tamulosin dosage doubled while was in the hospital for another matter. I later found out from a young visiting doctor in HIS office that the dosage could have proven fatal! I then met with another younger UR who told me he enjoyed RE and endorsed the Urolift! I've had a weak stream for some time and don't completely empty my bladder.

About 2 weeks ago I began taking a small dose of Hemp Oil twice a day. The first benefit I have noticed is a much better urine stream, less urgency to go, and a greatly improved emptying of my bladder. I still get up once a night to urinate, but things have changed for the better.

    I have not heard that a doubling of Flomax dosage could be fatal. I have seen people on this forum using twice the normal dosage, and my regular doctor (not Uro) told me last week I could double the dosage if needed.

    Do you have something else going on, like low or high blood pressure, or other medications you are taking?

    I take two Tamsulosin every day - one in the morning and one in the evening with no issues. This has doubled my rate of flow from 3ml/sec to 5 - still very slow compared to normal, but it helps. Tamsulosin may lower blood pressure slightly so whoever told you that a double dose could be fatal might have been referring to blood pressure. I have never heard of anyone saying that a double dose of Tamsulosin might be dangerous here or anywhere else, so I am skeptical about this statement.

    we buy it locally. It is called Charlottes web from Stanley Brothers. Im taking 1/2 ml twice a day right now

      Cannabidiol (CBD) products could be classified as ‘novel foods’ and need European Food Safety Authority approval, potentially preventing millions of people buying products from which they are seeing huge benefits .

      Food Standards in the UK are going to stop its sale as a food supplement until more tests are done on it. This may take eighteen months so I'd better stock up 😃 This happened a few years ago on herbal products and put the cost up.

      A petition has been started that will go to Parliament when it has 100,000 signatures.
