I just had one of the most amazing days out to knowsley safari park near Liverpool with the most awesome Guy everything was going awesome unti on the way back home I started to get a lot of pain in my back legs arms head and shoulders I also became very tired which I then started to fall asleep even though Harry(my new guy) was driving I felt him put his hand on my leg and started massaging I've never had a guy do that before when we got home he sat me down took my boots of for me mate me a coffee and tea ever time I moved he wanted to know where I was going and when I took to long at the toilet her knocked on the door to make sure I was alright.WHY is it that when you are in a lot of pain do you end up being sick and why s do you always need to empty your bowels when in pain you end up in more pain than you was already in each time you go

Hi shirley28268 I have found that in the past year when ever I go out i end up paying the price for it. fibro doesnt like us doing anything especially if we push ourselves to hard when we do anything. Im now having problems travelling in the car as in so much pain. I think from what you have said this is whats happened to you. did you walk around the safari park or was you in a wheelchair. If you were walking then youve over done things the journey in the car their back wouldnt have helped also. Being in sooo much pain can cause you to be sick or feel nauseus. As for emptying your bowels when in pain could that be Ibs. When Im stressed and in pain I get Ibs its only since having fibro that Ive had Ibs. Ibs is a fibro symptom. take care

    Hi Shirley,

Sorry your day ended with a flare up, did you take any medication for the pain which might have caused the sickness and bowel movement? Perhaps the walking around moved things along if you take pain meds alot as they can bind you up.

On the plus side Harry sounds like a keeper!

Harry is definitely a keeper Charlotte1824 I must admit that he has his own problems diabetes and the blood in the top of his legs doesn't flow to the bottom of his legs properly and he's a lot older then me ( I'm 46 on Sunday 29th May,and he turned60 this April) but I don't care about the age gap we both love each other and that's all that counts. And I have ibs which they had just found out and ocd which doesn't help

Well if he makes you happy and cares for you then nothing else matters, my partner is 13yrs older than me but he has the mental age of a 14yr old as men do lol!!! Wedding vows are in sickness and in health and if you love someone you love the whole of them including any problems they may have.

I wish you both the best and I wish you both good health.

Thank-you Charlotte1824 I don't think there will be wedding bells or anything like that but it don't care about that it's only a piece of paper at the end of it and a lot of money for one day I love Harry(my new guy and I know he loves me and how much he thinks about me and cares I just can't wait to see where he's taking my on Sunday (as it's my birthday and he said that he was going to take me somewhere really classy

I agree about weddings, so very expensive for 1 day and nothing really changes as this day an age we already live with our partners before all that. Regardless of a wedding though, in sickness and in health is something one should apply when they love someone.

Happy birthday for Sunday, I hope you have a lovely day x
