In a panick. Fear of cancer?!

Im only 17. I have severe health anxiety.
About 3 days ago i was itching around my groin/bikini area where the hair down there is itched to the extent i hurt myself. Since then i have a flat and red on top, hard lump under the skin. It looks like a biy purple around one of the tiny hairs, but i dont think its ingrown hair as i havent shaved in a while and it doesng look ingrown.
It used to hurt but i dnt know if this is coz i havent been at it as mich today but it doesnt hurt anymore unless i really press on it, which is worrying me. Its moveable to the extent it feels like i can pick it up and i can pinch it. The skin around it is fine and it has not grown in the 3 days. Ive no cancer history but i keep having panic attacks. Im planning to make app soon there all out at the moment.
Please any reassurence or advice im so worried i dont want cancer

Holly get it checked, later on when you become sexually active you are going to need pap smears and that is for your own safety to make sure you are not developing a cancer of the cervix.
?And what about having a baby, no dignity left at all I'm afraid, but how many thousands of women have had babies, and when it is born you forget everything except the joy and happiness that comes with a healthy bub.
How are you going to cope with that, maybe a female Doctor would help, but It really doesn't make any difference, they are professionals and have seen it all before, fat, thin, tall and short, makes no difference, we are all human.

Your immune system is dealing with it as it does with most minor infections, and or viral illnesses, you just have to wait for a little bit, it a slow process, and nothing even antibiotics will help.
?Swollen lymph glands are all part of your system dealing with infection, its amazing how large they can get, like a golf ball is not uncommon, but if it was that large I would suggest you see a Dr, and your lymph glands are deeper than just under the skin, some are buried behind your heart, and even Dr's cannot feel them, or not easy to feel them.

Don't worry much Holly, It could only be a skin infection or something like that. Still if you have an doubts I would suggest to visit a doctor for checkup or maybe a dermatologist.
