In awe of all sufferers

Hi members, after being a part of this forum for MD sufferers for over a year, I just wanted to say how in awe of you all that I feel. I read every single post and comments and realise that so many of you all are young and the ones that aren't have had this dreaded disease for a lot of years. I was diagnosed with MD, (and pretty severe where I was hospitalized twice) 2 years ago, but was 63 at the time. I consider myself sooo lucky to have got this disease so late in life. My best wishes go out to all of you who are struggling at a young age or who have had it for so long. You are indeed awesome and please keep up the fight.

That's so sweet of you to say this, Maria.  Thanks

We all share the same crappy disability but sharing it sure lessens the burden.

I got it at age 58. I am 60 now. It was really awful for about a month and then leveled off for now, since I started on supplements. No idea if that is why I feel better, but I will grab at anything I can!
