I had an arthroscopy last June after an injury playing netball jan 2017 as I had been suffering for 6 months with no diagnosis. When they went in and had a look they said my bursa sack had folded into my knee joint so they removed it my problem is I can’t kneel on my left knee whether it be in the floor or the bed the pain is unbearable I am also still walking with a limp any my knee just feels unstable all the time my gp keeps telling me it’s normal and can take up to 2 years to heal properly any advice would be great

See Orthopaedic specialist. GP's often have limited knowledge of knee issues. I'm a former netballer. Seek expert help. Good luck.

I would get an orthopaedic review but think long and hard before electing to have any further surgery unless absolutely necessary...wish I had been better informed when first had my cartilage removed but technology has changed alot since I had that done in 1984 - have ended up with a total knee replacement late 2017 but not without my struggles along the way.....but I am 70 ! So I did well but my surgery is taking along time to repair!

You sound fairly young if still playing netball (forgive me any older players out there) and so much can be done these days - so do your homework and be very thorough....good luck x
