In need of advice - graphic pic included

So these two sores appeared a few hours after having intercourse with partner of several months. It was the first time we had not used a condom.

There was no pain, no blister nor did they form a crust. With in 24 hours a scab had formed on both of them and they healed in 5 days other than leaving a tiny speck of rough skin at the site of each sore.

The current covid pandemic made it impossible to see my GP or attend the GUM before they had scabbed over. Ive never seen anything like this and Dr Google keeps bringing up herpes.

Looks like herpes. This is a standard breakout. Get tested. Sorry that this happened to you right after not using the condom. Confront your girlfriend she probably knows and didnt tell you. F****d up.

Also everyones outbreaks are different not everyone develops blisters, clusters etc it presents on people differently. The bright side is you healed quickly for a first out break which is usually the worst.

80% of people who have herpes dont know they have it, they carry the virus but dont get outbreaks, so ignore that comment that says your girlfriend probably knew and didnt tell you because thats very unlikely.

I caught herpes from a partner id been with for months and he was devastated but its life. Herpes is manageable and far easily to deal with for men. You can order medication online if you get another outbreak and just try and be careful

Thanks for the replies, this is what they looked like after 2 days. All that's left now (9 days) is 2 small patches of silver/white coloured skin
