hi, I have severe tricompartmental prolapse with cystocele and rectocele. It took one year for them to find my problem, they have been treating me for constipation and inflammation, I am in soo much pain, that I am always tired working 8 to 10 hours a day has been very difficult and taking care of my 6 kids is almost impossible, I want to have my surgery done as soon as possible, did anyone had severe pain before surgery?

Hi Lulu
Have had what you have plus hyster. and avulsion. I'm 5 weeks out from surgery. I really feel for you with your life as it is. I dragged myself around for years and years making it so difficult to cope ache pain and exhaustion.
You need a uro gynae and also see a pelvic physio. I have had the surgery 3 times so I can only stress that you need 3 months to heal adequately not completely. Lots of help as you need to be as horizontal as often as possible. Definitely no lifting carrying bending , sitting or standing for very long. You will need several months off work not weeks.
I hope you organise the right people , have all the help you need which is with everything and the surgery is very soon.
All the best
