Inactive EBV. Chronic mono. Start excercising?

Posted , 2 users are following.

This week I got blood work done and it turns out the EBV is now inactive and my doctor said I can return to normal activity. With that being said, I still have a disconnected/brain fog feeling and low energy. Would it make sense to start exercising little by little thru the fatigue, or will that make it worse? I'm nearing 6 months in.

Hi A, If your Dr gave you the all clear, its fine to start light exercise(I say light, as if you were in bed or not exercising at all, start slowly) walking, yoga, stretching...listen to your body, if you feel fatigue stop & do something else, try again later or wait until the next day...be patient, you've been sick awhile, you'll get back into your groove...eating regular meals and healthy snacks(be sure you get nutrients & calories to fight fatigue & keep blood sugar stable) lots of people eat multiple small meals, esp. if you've had a lack of appetite or not eating regularly while being sick...Glad to hear the all clear, great news!! Good Luck & BEST WISHES💒🎶🌈🍀☮♾🐾
