incisional hernia

i'm new, i have a incisional hernia and still waiting to get it fixed.  Does anyone else with a Hernia get pain as soon as they start eating then be very sick??

    Hi,  yes I have a incisual  Hernia and I an starting to feel sick.  My doctor told me to go away and build up your core mussels.  I have A Hernia from a infection which had to be packed 50 times.  See my doctor to tomorrow as it has got bigger.

    Hi Nichola , I have just had a incisional abdominal hernia reair on 4th Dec , I understand the pain you are talking about although I wasint sick I felt very sick and was given anti sick pills which I found helpful, even though I have had operation I still feel sick , hopeing this will ease off soon,  I waited nearly 2 years to get op I hope yours is  done a lot sooner, I wish you good health and good luck for the future chris x

    Hi, I've just had my repaired and yes I am in still a lot of pain but it is worth it. I was in Hospital for five days in Plymouth after key hole surgery which you will get quite a bit of bruising from surgery. Ask for a Pca pump for pain relief or you might not get one if you don't ask.

    Please be brave as it will make you feel a lot better after surgery. )
