Incisional hernia

Hello to all following my latest Saga. I do indeed have an incisional hernia but I don't have to do anything about it at the moment it's very tiny so it's just watchful waiting for the time being. I'm ok with that. Not in any hurry for more surgery at the moment. I'm confident in my surgeon and trust his advice.

Thank you do much. It will need fixed, but not yet. I'm happy with that. It's not bad if i don't overdo it, which i was, by looking after my grandson too much. I've had to cut that down. Thank you for your reply. Much appreciated.

Hi Rhonda. Hope you are doing ok and coping my friend. Yes I'm glad to know what this is. It will have to be surgically repaired but not yet. I overdid it last week looking after my grandson I knew I was over doing it , i just wasn't listening to my body, trying to help my son and daughter in law . if I just take it easy and not do too much then I can put this off for a while

And I'm happy to do that! It's a never ending journey!

Reading all the comments seem to help with the anxiety/ worry. I'm almost one week out of hospital, first attack. I don't know how you lot do it, this disease is unbearable tbh. I'm still on the antibiotics, and a low fiber diet. I will be moving on to stir fry type dishes late next week. I'm elated at the fact my fevers are gone, and the constant lower left quadrant pain is gone...however, I have occasional twitches, pulls, and cramps, not to mention massive fatigue. I have Ulcerative colitis as well. My gut feeling tells me I'll have another attack. I've had either diarrhea or constipation my entire life. For that reason I'm learning as much as I can about resection. I can't believe how tired I am. Odd this.
